Science Experiments in the Works
Results of Delta and Emma experiment #1: Will cordless phones survive a nuclear explosion? Theory: No. Details: Place a cordless phone in the microwave, microwave on high for unknown minutes, remove. Findings: smell of smoke, phone unresponsive, dead, no more working. Conclusion: a cordless phone will NOT survive a nuclear explosion.

Well, at least your kids only burn them!! I have a child who flushed one down the toilet! They don't survive that either, although they do clog the toilet and require husband to take completely apart and try to locate phone! (I did not stay in the room for that one!)
Mostly, I have decided the couch must be a secret canabal and eating the phone behind my back!
Oh Suzanne!! How do you keep your cool?! Wow! I would be either pulling my hair out or laughing myself silly!
HAHA I love it!!! We are always loosing a cordless phone somewhere.... I found one in my sons laundry today...
