Adventures in Root Beer

 Tony finally got the chance to make Homemade Root Beer.  I got him the bottler about three years ago, along with some caps. 


 

This past Christmas I got him some new bottles that were smaller.  6 oz. 
Saturday morning we started the process.




 After mixing, the kids made an assembly line to get them bottled and put in the cooler to "cook". 
For the next 36 hours, they watched it and recorded the temperature.  Then added some ice for the cool down process.
